MOUNT PLEASANT (February 21, 2008) - Central Michigan University’s women’s soccer program will be hosting a Girls High School Preseason Soccer Clinic on the weekend of March 8th - 9th, to help players get a head start on their spring season of competition.

Players can attend on either one of the days for just $65, or on both days for a discounted rate of $100. High school players are invited to attend the clinic along with other teammates as well so that teams can all have another quality opportunity to train together as a group before the high school season starts.

The clinic will be run by CMU’s coaching staff, along with other collegiate coaches from throughout Michigan (Ferris State, Kalamazoo College, Alma College, Davenport, and more) and several current and former CMU players. This will be a tremendous soccer learning experience at one of the best indoor facilities in Michigan. The clinic will feature a comprehensive training schedule that includes topics such as passing, receiving, dribbling, finishing and other individual techniques. Additionally, there will be sessions involving small-sided games, group tactics and positional play. Specialized training sessions will also be offered for goalkeepers.
