Kingdom Select
Players are required to attend two 90-minute tryout sessions (see Kingdom Web site for schedule) and need to bring a recent 1x1-headshot photo, two copies of their birth certificate, water, and a ball. Players must wear a plain white t-shirt and shin guards during tryouts. A make-up tryout date is planned from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 19 at Kingdom Indoor Center, 8151 Merchant Place in Portage.
Kingdom Select is Southwest Michigan's newest select-level youth club that competes against other select clubs within about a one-hour radius of Kalamazoo. In its inaugural 2006/2007 season, Kingdom Select fielded 16 teams and has grown to 24 teams, with plans to add 12-15 teams to the club for the 2008-2009 season.
The club hosts boys and girls teams in the U8 to U18 age groups, has no geographic boundaries, and the teams are based in communities throughout Southwest Michigan. Tryouts for older age groups may also be held for existing travel teams or newly forming teams where an eligible head coach is available. New coaches, including parent coaches, willing to be a good leader and role model both on and off the field are welcome to contact Kingdom Soccer regarding possible placement with a team.
The Kingdom's professional coaching staff, that includes many of Southwest Michigan's finest collegiate and high school soccer coaches, will work with the coaches and their teams at weekly practices to help create an educational and successful environment.

Kingdom Reserves
All players wishing to tryout must pre-register online at: www.kalamazookingdom.com. Players are required to attend one 90-minute tryout session and need to bring a recent 1x1-headshot photo, two copies of their birth certificate (new players to the club only), water, and a ball. Players must wear a plain white t-shirt and shin guards during tryouts.
Coached by the area's most accomplished collegiate and high school soccer coaches, Reserves teams compete in the Michigan State Premier League or the Michigan Champions League. The club has no geographical boundaries and is open to all age-appropriate soccer players.
