SoccerZone announces new Fall soccer tournament

Portage, MI (July 17, 2008) - The inaugural SoccerZone Fall Classic tournament will be held on Saturday August 30 and Sunday August 31 in Portage, Michigan. This is Labor Day weekend, a traditional big soccer tournament weekend and a great opportunity for your team to gear up for their regular season.

The tournament will be held on the fields adjacent to SoccerZone and will have divisions for:

U9 – Boys and Girls

U10- Boys and Girls

U11- Boys and Girls

U12- Boys and Girls

The cost for the tournament is only $100 per team and includes three matches and awards for players on the championship teams. The Boys games are held on Saturday August 30 and the Girls are held on Sunday August 31.

“We really wanted to offer a high quality, inexpensive outdoor tournament for our customers to enjoy,” said SoccerZone’s Mike Garrett. “With the cost of gas, hotels, registration fees, etc., tournaments are a big expense for soccer families. The SoccerZone Fall Classic will offer everything needed, be close to home and each team will have all of their games held in one day – no need for extensive travel or the expense of hotel rooms!”

All teams will need to pre-register and have player pass cards for each player on the roster. Spaces are limited and you are encouraged to register immediately if your team is interested in participating!
