MYSOCCER Picks Game

If you are passionate about soccer, closely follow play in America, and are looking for a game to challenge your soccer prognosticating abilities, you have come to the right place. Last year, we set aside a $200 purse for prizes. Based on player feedback, the prize money was donated to charity. In keeping with that theme for 2008, mysoccer.com will donate to charity $10 for every player who can accumulate at least 100 points over the course of the 2008 Major League Soccer season ($300 maximum). The benefiting charity will again be Nothing But Nets.

Nothing But Nets is a global, grassroots campaign to save lives by preventing malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa. Inspired by former Sports Illustrated columnist Rick Reilly, tens of thousands of people have joined the Campaign that was created by the United Nations Foundation in 2006. Founding campaign partners include the National Basketball Association's NBA Cares, The People of the United Methodist Church, and Sports Illustrated. Registration Form

When you register, you can align yourself with a group name. Your friends and family who sign up with the same group name will be able to track results within that group. Your information will be used solely by mysoccer.com as needed to administer the MYSOCCER Picks Game. It will not be released to any third party for any reason.
To support this charity and join in on all the fun, you must first register to grab yourself a unique and descriptive user name and set your password. Players who registered last year can keep the same user name and password. Returning players do not need to re-register.

Each week of the MLS regular season, show your prognosticating prowess by picking the winner of MLS and other matches from the English Premier League or other competition (e.g., Olympics, Euro 2008).
