Kalamazoo, MI (June 8, 2008) - The Kalamazoo Outrage PDL side improved to 4-2-1 with a 2-0 victory over the Cincinnati Kings at Mayors Riverfront Stadium in Kalamazoo on Sunday afternoon.

The Outrage registered their 4th shutout of the season as they accomplished home and away victories over the Kings, having beaten them last month 1-0 in Cincinnati. During the 1-0 victory in Cincinnati English striker Dan Bulley scored the lone goal of the match and the powerful striker again opened the scoring against the Kings yesterday finishing from close range in the 43rd minute.

Within a minute of his 3rd goal of the season Bulley pulled up lame with what appeared to be a hamstring injury and had to be substituted. Bulley however remained upbeat ``It's (hamstring) a little sore. I've never done it before, so we'll see what it's like tomorrow and I'll get the ice on it tonight and go from there".

Despite dominating the match and registering a total of 14 shots compared to the visiting sides 2 shots the Outrage had to wait until the 90th minute to double their tally and secure victory when Portage native and Indiana University star Eric Alexander slotted home coolly from the penalty spot after substitute Tom Oatley was pulled down in the box when clear through on goal.

Outrage head coach Stu Riddle was happy with the victory but lamented the missed opportunites "We make things hard for ourselves by not taking chances. We kept the Kings in the match right until the end because of our inablilty to finish the game off. Overall we are happy with the clean sheet and 3 points but we can't afford to continue to spurn chances like we have been in recent matches if we are serious about being play off contenders".

The Outrage will play 3 games in the next 6 days as they look to move into first place and overtake the Chicago Fire Premier in the Midwest Division of PDL's Central Conference. First up is the West Michigan Edge on Wednesday June 11th, a match that will kick off at 7pm at the MVP sportsplex in Grand Rapids, MI.

Ft Wayne will be the next destination on Friday June 13th as the Outrage take on the Fever before returning home to face the Indiana Invaders at 7pm on Sunday June 15th at Mayors Riverfront Park in downtown Kalamazoo.
